It’s been one year since we reopened. It’s been a year filled with all things masks and hand sanitizer. However, it’s been one of my favorite years so far and I’m lucky to have spent it with these people. @anthropologie thanks for letting us do what we love the most.

National Business Women’s Week is a salute to achievements of all working woman. Since it’s creation in 1928, the NBWW has encouraged recognition and honored the achievements of working women throughout history. Each day this week I will give a shout out to business women in my life who have had an impact on my personal growth. Day 5 and this Faith filled Friday goes to this amazing lady @vasch_es. If I could just only put everything she means to me into words....I mean just look at her smile! Vasch was my administrative assistant for years. The truth about admins is they really should have another title that describes them better but how do you come up with a title worthy enough. Vasch wasn’t my assistant she was my prayer partner, thought partner, one step ahead of me partner, the person I trusted to keep all the confidential stuff, and so much more. Vasch was so on top of everything I began asking her to think about going into a sales role. She was so hesitant...not sure she felt comfortable leaving the security of her desk. We took baby steps and she started selling over the phone to several customers. That year She out sold an entire department.!!! Her confidence grew and she started going to see customers 1 day per week. She started to double her dollars! She soon promoted and I can’t even express the Joy I had for her. She is a testimony in believing in yourself, reaching for your dreams, and being faithful in God’s plan. She is also a fashionista and can mix patterns in an outfit better than anyone I know! Vaschonta you have taught be so much about the power of believing in others, being a mother, not being scared to speak about my faith at work, power of prayer, and having a servant heart. Today, a salute you lady! Keep reaching your dreams! You make me so proud! 🥰🥰🥰

Another glorious Monday... Said no one ever! 😂. My darling friend @myfavoritethings25 tagged me to reveal 10 things about me and here they are:

1. I'm from Barranquilla, Colombia, and you already know two more people from my city, @shakira and @sofiavergara .
2. As a good Colombian, I love dancing.
3. I don't know how to swim. In fact, I can't even float.
4. I know how to drive but hate it and avoid it like the plague.
5. I love naps and take them every time I can (happy #nationalnappingday ).
6. I can't ride a bike.
7. I'm very good at drawing.
8. I love rice and could probably eat it every day.
9. For a quick minute, I thought I wanted to be a nun.
10. I am not a big drinker, can only handle two cocktails, max. My husband teases that I'm a cheap date.
If I tagged you to be next, no pressure! 💋

When you take the time to just hang out and surround yourself with women who are amazing, it can change your life. So glad these women are not only my coworkers but friends! And I can't forget Sissy, she is not only a sis but my bestie!
