There’s a little more room on the White Wall now.
We’re excited to introduce Movie Club, a new space for independent feature films, and a natural extension of what White Wall Screenings has always loved doing: bringing good films and curious audiences into the same room.

For our very first Movie Club screening at The Habitat, we chose Rukh, directed by Atanu Mukherjee (@atanumukherjee ), to kick things off. Ten years after its release, it felt especially lovely to bring this film back to a screen and share it with an audience all over again.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped us make this first screening happen, and to everyone who came along and made the room feel like the beginning of something.
Our short film screenings will, of course, continue. But now, there’s a new chapter alongside them, one that makes space for independent feature films too.

Here’s to many more Movie Club screenings, many more films, and many more reasons to gather around a screen.

A Ghamela. A Loop Line. Some Dahi. A quest to Find the Love of Your Life. And misfit Parents.

Five short films, five filmmakers, five very different stories, all coming together for Shortfilm Corner at NCPA.

Come pick your poison. Or, better yet, watch all five.

📅 14 October | 6:30 PM
📍 Godrej Dance Theatre, NCPA

In the heart of Zaveri Bazaar, a small wish can carry a lot of weight.

Ghamela, written, directed and produced by @vasudharungta , follows a karigar in Mumbai’s gold market as he sets out to find a gold necklace for his wife ahead of Dhanteras, the annual festival of buying gold.

But will he be able to bring home the necklace he hopes for?

Watch Ghamela on October 16 at 5:40 PM onwards at Tasveer Film Festival.
