Meet @vaughncherise, playing the ABBESS.

Cherise is a multi-award-winning actress, bringing a grounded presence to roles like the protective housekeeper, tough-but-fair principal, and authority figures audiences trust. Recently finished a one act in The Chain Theatre Festival. Looking forward to the role of Abbess in “The Comedy of Errors.

Views from our first day of rehearsal with the ensemble of THE COMEDY OF ERRORS!

Every Stairwell Theater show begins with a space — we loved listening to the sounds around the Battery Park Playscape, meeting many interested audience members who wandered by to peek into our rehearsal, and soaking in the afternoon sun.

That’s Curtains on “Straight to Hell” by Amanda L. Mason for The New York Theater Festival!🎉

Thank you for everyone who came out & supported, we’re nothing without you. And congrats to the other shows in the festival & the amazing new friends who make up their casts & crew.

It’s rare to find a project that feels like home from top-to-bottom. Especially in this industry, so when you find it: embrace everything, respect it, & put on for your people.

What a run! We3 has finished its last film festival. 10 official selections 6 wins. Not bad for @threechicksflicks first film together. We are so proud of this little film. But we are so excited for what the future holds! Who’s ready for the next????

I had a great time representing @ThreeChicksFlicks’ latest short film, “We3” (2025) at @NewYorkCineFest this weekend with @danimharper (actor/writer/producer), @vaughncherise (actor), and @therossinator21 (editor). And on a personal note, I finally got to watch my former @su_film_program professor, @karaherold’s film “The Callback” (2023), which screened in the block right after mine. Small world!
