17th In The World! 🌍

I gave that absolutely everything I had! Unfortunately, I experienced a puncture during the race. Luckily, it did finally seal, but it meant I lost vital pressure, making the ride a lot harder to stay in contact with the race. I felt strong into the run, but it was evident the effort from the day had caught up to me. The last 12km getting back was a real battle. The only thing getting me home was imagining that I was running in the Everton 10km with all my friends and family 💙

This result puts me 5th in the Pro series, rounding off a very consistent year. You don’t always get lucky or get it right on the day, but I’m proud to have battled till the very end.

As always, a huge thank you to the people around me. ❤️

Watch until the end to see the total packing time. ⏱️
The pre-race anxiety of breaking down a fully integrated aero cockpit? Gone. ✌️

With race day hitting this Sunday, the last thing I want to do at the hotel is re-dial my aero fit with a torque wrench. You just remove the wheels, lock the frame to the internal mounts, slide out the seat post and extensions, and latch the lid. Not a single pedal removed, and it still rolls through the airport with one finger.

Would you leave your pedals on when flying, or are you taking them off every time? Let’s debate 👇

First ever UCI race, 4th ever gravel race at @mammoth_tuff. Pretty happy with the effort, even if I did leave some chin on the ground 🫠

The road to the Ironman World Championship in Nice, France, has been a journey defined by resilience, adaptation, and the relentless pursuit of what many once thought impossible.

I am incredibly proud to share that I will be heading to Nice to take on the world’s most iconic long-distance triathlon. This race represents a milestone I’ve been working toward for a long time, but it carries a significance that goes far beyond the finish line. When I toe the start line in Nice, I will be the first double-lung transplant recipient to compete in an Ironman World Championship, and I will be doing so as a para-athlete on top of being a transplant athlete.

Every training session—from the challenging swims that test my lung capacity to the long hours on the bike and the adjustments made to my run to accommodate my orthotic—has been a lesson in gratitude. My lungs are a gift, and every breath I take on that course is a testament to the life-saving donation that made this dream possible.

This race is for everyone who has been told “no,” for every transplant recipient fighting to reclaim their life, and for the entire para-sport community that continues to redefine the boundaries of human potential.

I wouldn’t be here without my village. A massive thank you to my coach, Tracy, for the unwavering guidance, patience, and belief in my ability to handle these unique challenges.Your support is the engine behind my performance.

Nice is going to be tough, but I’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge. I am ready to swim, bike, and run with everything I have.

My Ironman World Champion race will look different than what we wanted it to be, due to me racing two weeks later in Spain at the Para World Championships!

Thank you @ambwilli for this beautiful video! 💖
