Dear friends,

The 2026 season of the NYC Plant Market concluded yesterday with a whopping 4235 visitors!! It's been a wild inaugural season and I couldn't ask for anything better.

Huge thank you to our partner, @culturelablic for being such an amazing host. We're aligned in goal and spirits, and I truly can't ask for a better partner.

Another huge shout out to our amazing volunteers!! You are all incredible and I can't thank you enough for bringing positivity, and life into this community market.

And lastly, the vendors and the plant community!! YOU all make this NYC Plant Market happen! ... In a bird's eye view, my role as an organizer is actually quite minimal. This is all you! ... You put your faith and trust in me and make this market amazing! I love you all!

For the time being, the market will be hibernating for the winter. We will come back stronger, better, and even more green and luscious in Spring 2027.

Has anyone else been in a wardrobe slump? This summer I said NO MORE!

I was sick of seeing myself in joggers and t-shirts—the WFH special. 👩🏾‍💻😩

A part of #findingmychartreuse is tapping back in with my inner fashionista.

The one who used to binge Style Network.

The one who’d get all the September issue magazines to prepare her back-to-school wardrobe.

The one who used to research runway shows for inspiration.

The one who had fun wearing the full rainbow, patterns and prints included!

It’s also been confronting what clothing I’ve held onto out of scarcity and comfort versus what actually makes me feel like my truest form.

I’m also entering a no-buy season (I told y’all summer blew the budget), so it’s going to be a fun experiment the rest of the year to look at my closet and make it enough.” (@ross sponsor me 😂)

August ended but summer hasn’t. It’s just winding down into the best month of the year. The last month before the birthday. West Virginia. Brooklyn adventures. My dear sister and brother in law in town. Friends. Good food. New glasses. The job picks up with more football and a new season arriving. Good eats around NYC. So this isn’t the end of summer. It’s the wind down til Sept 21.
