Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable night this past weekend.

Our Annual Benefit Auction & Dance Party was a massive success, and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible community’s presence, generosity, and support.

A huge thank you to our honoree, Scott Speh of Western Exhibitions. Thanks to TRQPITECA for keeping the dance floor alive, Zander Raymond for an inspiring VIP performance and Jesse Malmed for leading our Live Auction & Paddle Raise. We are super grateful to all the featured artists whose incredible talents made the evening so special and our dedicated Host Committee, sponsors, and to every guest who raised a glass, danced, and placed a bid!

‘Cosmic Rodeo’, Arts of Life’s annual Benefit & Art Auction is in the books! A wonderful Saturday evening of food, drink, dance, killer outfits, awesome speeches and yes—ART during the ‘whirl of CHICAGO EXHIBITION WEEK as we honored Scott Speh of Western Exhibitions for his advocacy and example as a leader for equity and opportunity in the art industry here at home and elsewhere! Partygoers truly embraced the theme: cowboy hats, boots and western wear decorated with sparkle and spacey elements aplenty made for a fantastic, “out of this world” time! Many amazing memories for me, from my hubby’s “Hans Solo goes to the Rodeo” attire, to a super-charged live auction, to fabulous conversations and laughs with friends old and new….YYYEEESSS!!!!

Huge thanks and gratitude to the team at Venue West and to our Sponsors, Partners—special shout-out to artist peers from around the U.S. for donating artwork, Host Committee, Staff, Executive Board and of course—our spectacular Arts of Life studio artists, for their persistent and passionate contributions and involvement. With a community like this one, even the sky has no limits as we support the creative ambitions of over 80 local artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

Already looking forward to next year! ❤️💨🌃🎨⭐️s🛸👽🤠🎉👏🍀🙏🏻

Utterly fabulous night for an art opening! Huge congratulations to Arts of Life artists Ariee, Katrina Jackson, Chris Austin, and Guy Conners on their participation in the new exhibition ‘Honeybun’, now on view in the 3rd Floor Gallery at The Union League Club of Chicago. A wonderful evening that brought together the artists, their families, friends and fans. Many thanks to Brian Jucas and the amazing ULC team for their support!

Chicago-based Arts of Life and its soon-to-be FOUR artist studios (West Town-Chicago, Woodlawn-Chicago, Glenview-North Shore, and Highland Park-North Shore) are championing the personal and professional development of 80 local artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities. From studio space and materials to exhibition and sales opportunities in the Circle Contemporary Gallery, it extends beyond these studios to places near (Chicago Cultural Center, The Design Museum of Chicago, INTUIT Museum, EXPO CHICAGO) to far—art fairs such as The Open Invitational Miami & San Francisco, NADA, UNTITLED, The Other Art Fair, and The Outsider Art Fair NYC).

Kudos to Arts of Life’s brilliant and dedicated team—staff, board and volunteers, for their relentless drive and commitment!

Arts of Life’s circle is ever-growing, and we’re grateful for incredible partners such as @ulcchicago, our donors and supporters for turning possibilities into reality and giving our studio artists’ talents the spotlight! THANK YOU ALL.

‘Honeybun’ is on view until September 9th—another add for the Chicago Summer art intinerary—CHECK IT OUT! YYYEEESSS!!!! ❤️💨🌃🎨⭐️s🔥👏🍀🙏🏻🔴s
