BLAGGARD RECORDS is excited to announce the debut releases of SORCERESS and COMORBID ⚔️⚔️ —— SORCERESS - DEMO MMXXVI (BLAG011) Sorceress is a wanderer, playing guitar and learning to play keyboard and drums in a small cosy attic in England, by warm storm lamp glow, birds sitting on the old brick chimney overhead, rain tapping the skylight, the moon peering down, her imagination cantering off on horseback into the forest chasing tales of old, dark and magical. —— COMORBID - Two-Headed Giant (BLAG012) “The orb awakens. Its visions fractured, its messages splintered. But one thing is clear beyond any doubt: Giants of every order are acting strangely all across the realm. Usually peaceful and reclusive beings, their appearance in unexpected places is troubling enough, but their uncharacteristic frenzied and destructive behaviour is of grave concern to all. There are two who answer the call of the orb. To unravel its mysteries. To learn from each encounter on their journey. To help those in need who lack the power to help themselves. Two acting as one. They are the Comorbid. Their quest is to discover who or what is responsible for this vexing turn of events. And so, into the fog... they ride.” —— Full streaming through YouTube and Bandcamp available now, including very limited cassette tape preorders for each release - links in the bio ⚔️ Both acts with be opening up NORTH WEST DUNGEON FEST at Bijou Cinema, Southport on Saturday 3rd October 2026 - get your tickets before it’s too late!! Prepared Is out today. It’s a different sound for me and one I’m really happy with, I can’t quite believe it’s here as some of the songs existed half way between my mind and a hard drive for a long time. There are so many people to thank, all of the musicians helped take this to the next level, let’s call it ‘Laura : Elevated’. I am forever grateful to you for sharing your talents and your time with me Marco Rea Lavinia Blackwall Stu Kidd Vidar Norheim Mike Lindsay Graeme Bell Chloe Kent Holding it all together, and pushing me to do something different was Iwan who co-produced with me. We went through so many left turns and closed doors on this record and you even let me use your singing. You brought your impeccable knowledge and sonic skills and it would have been impossible without you. To my beautiful graphics queens @spannermartin and @jesssswainson. Working with you both has been amazing (for me at least, maybe not for you!) And a final shoutout to the Viscount of Video and the Prince of pics Scott Dulson @dulead for the cover image. I’d also like to thank @helpmusicians for their support and guidance in helping me finish the project. Thank you all. Do you yearn for cosmic moments that reach beyond the confines of normal time? And do you exist to see the developmental strides a group of dogs can make when juxtaposed with Sou'wester hats? This is 'Counting Time' my first single and video in some time - what can I say? Sometimes the muse takes her own sweet time. The link is in my bio/profile There's a lot of people to thank for this (hold on Mariah)...
