921 luneta As I grow older, I can’t help but wonder. It’s not like our house gets flooded every bagyo, so why do I still feel so frustrated? The answer, I think, depends on what corruption really means to you. For me, corruption isn’t just about the floods or the personalities involved. It’s about how every peso stolen is another stolen dream from a child. Funding meant for flood control, education, and research too often disappears into the wrong hands. That’s why we end up with consecutive class suspensions, overcrowded classrooms, and limited research opportunities, all proof of how much we are failing to provide for the next generation. That’s why staying silent isn’t an option. We owe it to each other and to the ones who will come after us to keep speaking up, to keep fighting for what’s right. Remember, ang tao, ang bayan, ngayon ay lumalaban. 🇵🇭
