New work KEEPING, Studies made for @vcuartsdance

Such a wonderful time working with these talented students—thinking about time and consequence and the particles affected by all of it:)

Come see them enact time in new and surprising ways. Can’t wait to premiere this work in February!

playing really close to the mirror

this was some improv i did for a project ive been working on. playing around with being really close to the mirror and what movement looks like from that perspective. i think its really cool, it was definitely fun to do.
and honestly i might have been listening to this song while playing around, ive been listening to this album a lot recently. Hyaena - Siouxsie and the Banshees

✨💫I had an amazing morning with my Ballet III VCU Dance students experiencing PBT (Progressive Ballet Technique)!
We are so fortunate that the department has invested in the necessary equipment and that I am certified to teach and guide our students through this practice.
VCU students take Ballet and Modern four days a week, and incorporating PBT provides such fundamental support for their training. Proud of these dedicated dancers! 🩰✨
