Had the chance to catch the UNC vs Stanford match tonight and meet @ylannguyen_ . Watching her play up close was something special. Her composure, speed, and confidence on the ball is genuinely inspiring — she plays with a calm intensity that pulls you in and makes every touch look intentional and effortless.

Knowing she started at @vdasoccer like me shows me exactly what I have to look forward to — a reminder that the path I’m on can lead somewhere incredible.

Battle of the undefeated. ECNL GU16 Mid-Atlantic: 1st place NCFC Youth NC Courage (4-0-0) meets 2nd place Virginia Development Academy (VDA, 4-0-1), and neither team has lost a game.

Courage hasn't allowed a goal all season. VDA has scored 17 goals, the most in the conference. A VDA win takes first place. A Courage win opens a two-point lead. And a draw keeps both teams unbeaten.

Sunday, October 25, at 9:00 AM ET, WRAL Soccer Park. Who stays unbeaten?

Thank you, @prep_soccer for these words!!!

You have so accurately described where Selah is at in this journey. She’s put in A LOT of hours for a strong technical base. She is so hungry and eager to be on the ball. As she says, “I just love the feeling of the ball at my feet.” She loves to set up her teammates for plays by finding a good split or giving a good deceptive - no look pass. She is learning and growing with every rep, every film review, and every session.

Thank you for seeing her hard work while she continues to grow!!
