It do take a lot of nerve💋🔥🍒 #barbershop #fireisland #queer #hair #barber GOOD HEAD | Fire Island 2026

It started during a pandemic, on an island, with a pair of clippers and a whole lot of nerve.

Edwin and Jorge showed up to Fire Island Pines with one mission — make people feel good. What began as a pop-up became a ritual. A homecoming. A place where the men of Fire Island could come together, get fresh, and feel seen.

This summer, we’re turning a new page. We’ve moved to Cherry Grove — and we couldn’t be more in love with this community. The energy, the freedom, the pure unapologetic joy of this place — it moves us every single time.

This is our first year in Cherry Grove, and we are here for it.

GOOD HEAD. New York City’s premier men’s grooming experience — and now, your Fire Island home.

Gigs & Life in July 🥵
In the midst of getting back to NY and jumping into a busy stretch, I haven’t stopped to rly acknowledge and appreciate that I had the opportunity to play my favorite room on the planet, with with a completely unexpected 90 min closing set @goodroombk . Couldn’t be more pumped with how it went down. Didn’t have time to overthink it, hit play and rode the #music! Only regret is the homies didn’t get to pull up and rock with me - next one will be planned!

Sunday session at @ohboy.bk with @bvdhai & @gizovaa was a ripper of an afternoon. Maybe the hardest b2b in a restaurant window all summer 😭 s/o @brendon_beck for the link up.

And most recently, got down with 2 NY legends .. @andypryortega brought me along to @earthlydelights.nyc and I got to go toe to toe with @mattfx as he rinsed tons of unreleased bangers til the early morning 🙌🏽

Our next edition of TERRAZZA is this Sunday and the lineup is psycho tbh. Tapped 3 of my fav DJs in NY to bring 6+ hours of hard-hitting dance floor gems across a huge genre spectrum. @princelanguage @beewack @michaelmagnan this is gonna be special!!! $10 at the door, support the underground.
Follow @musicaterrazza for updates, etc🙏🏼

Let’s keep this thing moving!

4/17/25 it’s everybody’s bday tomorrow! JK just @alicejuneblythe and @vdolecek ‘s…which means LOTS of music. Although some of these parties may not be for everyone, they are open to everyone. So let’s sing, let’s dance, and don’t worry, be happy!
