This semester has no breaks holy cannoli

Also recital dump time!! Thank you all who could make it and thank you everyone for making my time at UNF so special. The faculty and all the friends I've made here have let me do so much stuff I never thought would be possible for me. I'm pumped to continue my career in Jax next year, both as a performer and teacher!!

Thanksgiving/End-of-semester-5 post.

I’m super thankful for all the new opportunities I’ve had this semester, from moving into my first apartment with some super awesome roommates to being 2nd trumpet in JE2.

I also appreciate all of the friends along the way that have made tough times in my life much easier. Friends who helped us move into the apartment, friends who I have classes with, friends who I no longer have classes with, and the friends that I don’t get to see in person. You all are doing more for me than you know, if you’re reading this.

This semester has been a challenging period of my life in terms of my mental and physical health, and I’m very thankful for the understanding and respect from my peers and loved ones as I navigate being more conscious about my health, even through decisions such as changing my major to Interdisciplinary Studies.

This change in majors is not the end of my musical journey, so don’t worry - you will continue to see me around, playing in ensembles and continuing the pursuit of music.

Thanks for the fun times this semester.

A short clip from JE2’s performance of Peanut Brittle Brigade at the holiday concert last night.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out or tuned in online to watch, and to my peers for their awesome performances last night. You guys rock (or swing).
