10 years with @siouxpercon captured by my dear friends from @veauxdevilcabaret
I hope I did good by ya'all.
I know that I didn't do everything I wanted to, but I did everything I could.

"A safe, inclusive space for all to celebrate their fandoms."

That is what we set out to do.
It's not much more than basic decency, really, to see all people and meet them where they are in their lives with no agenda.
But it's rare.

The SiouxperCon Board and staff get it right more often than not, and always take accountability when they miss the mark.

You will see a lot of pics of me with family in this video...both biological and chosen. I am blessed to have them all in my life.

Happy holidays to all of you.
Be good to one another.

Living a double life isn’t easy, but I am so fortunate to have my support team by my side. Thank you all for being patient with me and encouraging me to keep moving forward!

Keep that northern border open! @loulouladuchesse is making her way to S10uxperCon: A Decade of Dreams to join @veauxdevilcabaret and headline our After-Dark burlesque show!

Also known as Lauren Ashley Jiles, Lou Lou is an Afro-Indigenous neo-burlesque dancer, teacher, and activist from the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, Quebec.

Since starting her burlesque journey in 2005 with the Blue Light Burlesque troupe in Montreal, she has become an international sensation. Lou Lou has headlined shows across North America, dazzling audiences in cities like New Orleans, Las Vegas, New York, Texas, Detroit, and Chicago. She has been honored three times in the Burlesque Top 50 by 21st Century Burlesque.

In September 2018, Lou Lou was crowned New Orleans Queen of Burlesque, and she also holds titles from the 2019 Burlesque Hall of Fame. Her advocacy work has been showcased in the documentaries “Mohawk Girls” and “Club Native.”

Find Lou Lou at S10uxperCon: A Decade of Dreams, September 19-21 at the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center!
