Sunday Check 🎶🤎

What a full-circle moment. Growing up at Saint Philip, I couldn’t wait until I was old enough to sing in the Sanctuary Choir. I officially joined at 18 years old… and now, at 40, I’m still here singing, serving, and grateful to be a part of this ministry. 🙌🏾

This year, we’re celebrating 50 YEARS of ministry! 🥹🎶 So many voices, so many memories, and so much ministry through music.

Here’s a little snippet from Sunday sound check. 🎤✨

From the little girl who couldn’t wait to join the choir… to 22 years later. 💙

I knew I had a village, but I never expected it to show up quite like this. Seeing the turnout this weekend was a beautiful, overwhelming surprise that I will never forget.

What moved me most weren't just the faces, but the stories I heard. From neighbors to friends, my Mother's Dr of less than a year, to those who had only met her briefly—hearing your reflections and the ways she touched your lives filled my heart in a way I didn't know I needed. It turns out her light reached much further than I ever realized.

Thank you for surrounding me and for reminding me that while her journey was her own, she left a piece of herself with all of us.

Memphis we're coming and it to will be a celebration
