⭐️Up before the sun to welcome “The boys” home! They unloaded perfectly and looked fresh out of the box. Happy to be home and having breakfast!

Huge thanks to @tpctkev for setting us up with @vortexequine for our trip home 🏠 Juan and his team are world class and we are so grateful for the extra care they take of our precious horses!

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆. 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝒂𝒅𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒚

From little Medowie, all over Australia, and to the other side of the world. Countless events, championships, and a World Cup Final that took us on the most exciting journey of my life. Along the way came countless cuddles, nuzzles, nickers, and the quiet moments that were just for us.

There will never be enough words, love, or gratitude to express what this horse means to me. My Sweet Sweet Rusty, what a privilege it has been to call you mine. Now it’s time to share the Russell love and let you change even more lives as you begin this next chapter.

Thank you to my family, especially my incredible parents. You are the reason I have been able to chase this dream, and you’ve supported me every step of the way.

To the love of my life, Andy 🤍 you have pushed me, held me, and carried me through so much. I promise, you finally get your girlfriend back!

Robert Schmerglatt, you are so much more than a coach. You are family. There are not enough words to thank you for your unwavering belief in us and your commitment to our journey.

Tracey Watson, you matched us perfectly. I will be forever grateful that you chose me, and that you’ve stood beside us through this entire journey.

Thank you to my Texas family at Blackstar Sporthorses. Thank you for opening your doors to us, taking us in as strangers without hesitation, and giving us a home away from home. We truly have friends for life in Texas.

And a huge thank you to Steffen and Shannon Peters, Haley Smith, and the Arroyo team. I couldn’t have navigated the difficult decision and transition of Rusty’s sale without your support. Together, we found the perfect home for our Sweet Sweet Rusty, and I will be forever grateful for your guidance and kindness.

Dreams don’t come true without a village, and I am blessed with the very best. To the entire Russell Coight team, THANK YOU. You have believed in us, stood by us, and supported us over the past 7 years. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

We love you, Rus

Do what you love, they said. It'll be easy, they said. (It was not easy. But it was worth it and wouldn't want to change it for anything.)

This is what we love about North County San Diego, an evening walk on the beach with great company.

Thank you @vsdressage and @flintridgeridingclub for yet another fabulous show. Our little Arizona crew had a clean sweep across all our classes, and none of it would have happened without @veemahin, and you always make it FUN! I am super proud of @kenziemr20 riding her first Grand Prix on the magical Wallace. @tmsporthorses and @sskripac have been incredibly kind and generous partners in this journey with us. They are examples of the good in this sport. Thank you! I am so proud of @laff2u for riding in her first show in thirty years - and with multiple 70%’s! Thank you @hollybergaydressage for selling Indiano to us, and helping @kaliriddell_dressage show manage her hot spicy chestnut at a show in Colorado this same weekend! I am also super proud of my sweet Belle, as she is most fun I have ever had on horseback! One day we will be grateful that the passage comes so easily! 🤣 🦄 She just gets better and better! And of course, none of this weekend would have worked without Adolfo Leal! See you all in a few weeks in Cali! ☀️
