POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On the most blustery, wet day we have decided that now is the time to lean fully into Autumn. The rich colours, the low lighting, the excuse to add whimsical items like conkers to tablescapes.

We are so here for the warmth and colour of the season. 🍂

Layered lighting, always.

Addicted to tweaking until the last possible moment.

The warmth of the season. 🍂

Once referred to by Nikolaus Pevsner as one of the most important buildings in England, last week St Stephen Walbrook was transformed into a magnificient dining space for an evening with Angela Hartnett

@friendsofsmart brought together their Bronze Smart Friends beneath the venues iconic dome and travertine altar for an evening of Michelin-starred food, candlelight and a floral installation that grew around the altar. Our furniture and tableware dressed the tables that surrounded one of the most extraordinary centrepieces any room in London has to offer.

The Dairy at Waddesdon - Lakeside Terrace

So many couples are drawn to the lake at The Dairy and it is a very popular location for wedding ceremonies - outdoors and sheltered? Win, win! But there are many other ways of using and transforming the space throughout the day or weekend.

We have used it for ceremonies, drinks receptions, lounge seating, musicians, dancers, portraiture, picnics and lunches. I love finding ways to use the space that work with my couples' personalities and preferences, and which will create impactful memories for their guests.

Come and explore the lake tomorrow at the Open House, when it will have yet more incredible inspiration to kickstart your wedding planning.

A completely vegan menu for the launch of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition opening at the Natural History Museum 🌿📸

Bringing the competition’s categories to life through creative canapés and bowls, from our ‘Underwater’ canapé with oyster leaf cream, dashi ‘caviar’ and pickled daikon to our zero-waste ‘Photojournalism’ celeriac tart with whipped vegan cream cheese and black olive soil.

The showstopper? An 18ft, 360-degree dessert stall in Fossil Way, featuring leopard-print chocolate bonbons, banana sponge giraffe cubes and an interactive experience where guests created their own Baobab Coconut Posset with our expert chefs 🐆🦒

On Tuesday night, we hosted the reception for the opening of LAIKA presents Wildwood: The Exhibition at the Design Museum.

Guests were welcomed with beautiful flowers by Veevers Cafter, alongside canapés and cocktails from By Word Of Mouth, before heading up to the mezzanine to discover some of Laika’s work.

The exhibition, produced by Event Concept, is hosted in the Helene and Johannes Huth Gallery, and offers an exclusive look behind the scenes of Wildwood, from its earliest ideas and visual research through to character and environmental design, puppets, sets and animation. Celebrating 20 years of Laika’s groundbreaking stop-motion filmmaking, the exhibition also shines a light on the studio’s incredible body of work, including Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings.

A lovely evening celebrating the craft, creativity and magic behind one of animation’s most distinctive studios.

Collaborating with @historicroyalpalacesevents @eventconcept and @veeverscarter we created this exquisite dinner in the Medieval Palace at the Tower of London.

The evening was filled with special experiences including a tour of Crown Jewels, canapes on the Battlements overlooking the river and a dinner menu filled with storytelling. Experiencing the Ceremony of the Keys was a real highlight and the perfect finale to the evening.
