i normally don’t say much, but i truly can’t express how grateful i am for my life here in la la land. i have been here 12 years & sometimes you forget to be present. stop and smell the metaphorical roses if you will. i saw a friend get married, made a new gay friend (gasp), had a friend from florida here for work, went to the tom of finland house - which was one of the most moving things as a gay man & i just celebrated with the people who mean the most to me. thank you to everyone for making this last week special. 34 🖤 and happy fucking pride 🌈

I cling onto my family’s California roots tightly, but I’m a born and raised Florida girl. Growing up walking distance to the beach has made me both a spoiled brat and a snob when it comes to swim culture. I want white sand beneath your feet, warm ocean water that feels like the bath you’d take when you were little - there’s just nothing like Florida beaches.

I’ve said recently that I feel like I design adult size doll clothes. Designing swim is something I have always wanted to do. I sat down to write about how my first swim drop is referential to childhood nostalgia and 90s doll culture - and it is, but ultimately, it’s for the women who want to feel like the grown up bad bitch that their younger self would’ve idolized. And selfishly, for the forever Florida girl in me 🩷🌊🐬🌴
