EVERYONE had one line in common in their intro story :

"my friends/family/colleagues laughed at me at first, but im just happy my zero waste changes influenced at least 2-3 people in my life to make better choices"

Meet this happy group of Zero-Waste humans - Bangalore edition

We saw new faces this meet-up and some more! Some got their partners, siblings, kids, and other members of their life who don't actively practice sustainability too. They got a chance to see that people aren't just "crazy" 😂, there's a whole community of individuals aiming to live better for the 🌎

Most importantly we saw that ALL of us have a zero waste journey full of highs and lows, good days and bad days. While we aim for zero-waste, we take it one day at a time and go easy on ourselves. And most importantly...

I am so Proud to meet you all face to face. You're all such champs for practicing before preaching when it comes to sustainable living 🏆 we deserve to meet like minded people once in a while to recharge our social batteries and not feel so isolated in our efforts.

Keep rocking zero waste fam,
We had a pleasure hosting you!

Students of Bengaluru City University and surrounding colleges have responded loud and clear: enact proactive SC ST Cells in all Bengaluru Colleges!

COLLECTIVE's survey shows that Remedial Classes, Grievance Cell and anti-caste Sensitization Programmes are lacking in majority of campuses. We demand the Karnataka Education Dept to act now to ensure UGC Guidelines on SC ST Cells 2012 is immediately complied with in all education institutions.
