I’ve lately been experimenting with using Vegetative Training (VGT) or better said, self-regulative movements while cycling.
You can imagine this like giving the body away and letting it move freely, it’s spastic self regulative movements, you cannot control it and you have to give every control away. Don’t try this at home ;) We usually use this shaking in the basic position during a therapy session, but if highly experienced one can also let it come whenever wanted. My experiences using it while cycling were very interesting and I see huge potential for athletes to use during competition.
I felt immediate improvement of the biomechanics, the pelvis moving more freely, the belly and diaphragm opening up. The whole system running a lot smoother, more watts, less effort, better breathing. But the real power lies in targeting the lower back, which brings a lot of supressed rage and anger into movement. If you know how to handle these strong emotions, it’s a true superpower, resulting in extreme push, willingness to attack and put you into very focused, determined state. Emotion in motion, rage in motion. Using this in competition before an attack or big climb is a secret weapon! It takes experience and time to be able to use this during cycling and not everyone can do or handle it. The human body is full of secres and untapped potential, start exploring 🫶 I have no real competitive ambition in sports anymore myself other than enjoying it to the fullest, but my DMs are always open for people who need help in all areas of life.

What I can say today, and it brought me to tears quite a few times is: „ I am incredibly proud of myself!“
I just started to realise the last few days, and it has been very emotional, now being able to say „I did it“. I would say that I achieved the greatest performance of my life, and that has nothing to do with any external factors.
Even though I speak very openly about it, many don’t know and can’t comprehend what I’ve been through, what emotional pain I’ve felt.
Two years ago, I was completely burned out by years of depression, eating disorders, anxiety a deep feeling of loneliness and many times I played with the thought of crashing my car into a tree or simply not waking up anymore. I didn’t want to live this life, that felt like a burden to me.
I found Vegetative Training, and the one and only Inge Jarl Clausen, which felt like my last hope and it transformed me completely. It was a hard, long, painful and exhausting process but as off today I can say that I left all of the shit behind and that I am deeply happy, content, and at peace with who I am and my life .
This transformation, this is my biggest performance, and „I did it, I reached the peak, I feel like a winner and I am incredibly proud of myself!“
Much Love and good vibes to all of you 🤘🏻
