🎬✨ Last Thursday was a night to remember! We were honored to finally screen our works with the legendary Dato Tay Mo Leong. The evening was filled with inspiration, creativity, and an incredible sense of community.

Thank you to everyone for the continuous encouragement throughout this journey. This is just a beginning, and we can’t wait to share more with you all! 🌟

Special thanks to Cheah Ni from Georgetown Festival, Penang Institute for the venue, and Penang Watercolor Society for helping us make this screening happen. We also deeply appreciate Mr. Lee Khai for connecting us to Mo Leong which started this journey, and @yapsau for moderating the session.

The plot twist of Ramadan ending today and Raya starting tomorrow has me reflecting on one of the wildest and inspired projects I’ve been on, where I got to meet and surround myself with such amazing people, and eat a lot of dumplings from the Mee Tarik restaurant down the street 🤭

Of course I’m uploading this all a couple of months late, but takpelah, as they say: Everything Will Be OK! ✨✨✨

Nothing inspires more than people that trust your vision. This crazy bunch made last few weeks unforgettable. And since it’s March 8 got to give a special thanks to the ladies that literally do all the heavy lifting on the team 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

What a week. Two opening nights for Ernest, a set up that took a fortnight, my own exhibition opening. I’m absolutely shattered but grateful for everyone. We really became a unit. Thanks for the long nights, thanks for moving literal mountains on your back for us. xx

This is a Xu Jen appreciation post, she’s been assisting me for the past half year. Who has hand torn individual prints, hand made my boxes, picked up my loans, done the finishing on my embroideries on top of a million tasks that enabled me to focus on the bigger picture. ILY. 🙈
