This weekend, I made my way back to Oklahoma City, one of the first places I traveled to when I started my photography career. Pretty cool to return all these years later and still be doing something I love!

I had a shoot lined up with the amazing @danee_larie and I figured, while I’m down there, why not find some badass cars to photograph? So I reached out to the guys at @streetmotion_okc, and MAN, did they deliver!

Johnny from @velocityvisualcrew velocityvisualcrew brought out his absolutely INSANE 2018 McLaren 570S MSO X! 🔥

For those who don’t know just how special this car is, McLaren built ONLY 10 of these in the entire world! Built by McLaren Special Operations and inspired by the 570S GT4 race car, the MSO X is essentially a street-legal race car featuring extensive carbon fiber, aggressive aerodynamics, and a massive rear wing.

But here’s where things get REALLY interesting…

From the factory, these cars produced around 562 horsepower. Well, Johnny apparently decided that wasn’t nearly enough! His MSO X has been tweaked to put down an absolutely ridiculous 890 HORSEPOWER TO THE REAR WHEELS! 🤯🔥

Let that sink in. One of only 10 ever built, with nearly 900 horsepower at the wheels! This thing is an absolute MONSTER!

Now pair that machine with the incredible Danee, and you’ve got one hell of a combination of horsepower, muscle, and attitude!

I absolutely LOVE how this shot turned out! Everything just came together, and it’s easily one of my favorite shots from the weekend.

Huge thanks to Johnny and the guys at @streetmotion_okc for making this happen, and of course to Danee for bringing her A-game!

Nearly 15 years into this photography journey, and experiences like this remind me exactly why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

Every car has a story. This one just happens to have 890 horsepower behind it!
