Une première… et une victoire.

Le Canadien David Grenier signe une entrée remarquable sur le BikingMan en remportant le 555 Maroc en 29h37.

Un grand bravo également aux Race Angels, qui lui ont permis de repartir au CP1, ainsi qu’à un parcours aux paysages radieux du début à la fin.

Les sourires à l’arrivée en disent long.

Canadian rider David Grenier completes his first BikingMan in style, taking the win at the 555 Morocco in 29h37.

A special mention to the Race Angels, who helped him get back on track after CP1, and to a course filled with radiant landscapes all the way through.

My first Traka experience, some start line vibes before the adventure of the 360kms around Spain. I had a plan, stuck to it and finished feeling good, for the first time in a long time. More to come but for now time to catch up on sleep a bit after a full on week or so.

Memory Bike Adventure 🏁

Che dire, @memory_bike_ è stato un lungo viaggio iniziato a dicembre con @reaction_hub.

Non sapevo esattamente cosa mi sarebbe aspettato durante la gara, ma sapevo che dal primo giorno di preparazione avevo fatto tutto il possibile per arrivare nelle migliori condizioni fisiche e mentali.

È stato fantastico allenarsi con metodo e imparare tante cose sul nostro corpo durante l'attività fisica, a volte è stato impegnativo, ma alla fine sapevo che la gara sarebbe stata solo la fine di un percorso molto più lungo.

Consapevole che sarebbe bastata una piccolezza per mandare mesi di preparazione in fumo, sono arrivato alla partenza con l'intenzione intanto di finire il tracciato e arrivare in fondo senza star a guardare il timer, forse è stata questa la fortuna, ricordarmi di andare piano e aver margine durante tutte le discese a volte anche impegnative dopo tutte quelle ore in sella.

Dopo 700km nelle zone dove si è svolta la 1° Guerra Mondiale, tra trincee, monumenti per gli Alpini, strade e gallerie scavate nella roccia, mi è rimasto tanto di più di quello che ho studiato.

Grazie alle persone che ci sono state prima e durante quest'avventura!

È un’avventura lenta. Difficile. Ci vuole la giusta mentalità per prendere il via al @memory_bike_ Adventure. Si deve spesso guardarsi intorno per trovare un motivo per andare avanti. Nessuna parte è facile.
@sofianeshl dice che è stata la cosa più difficile che ha mai fatto.
C’è chi la definita un viaggio incredibile anche se si analizza bene è durato meno di 4 giorni.
@frnkwz @christianholweck sono ritornati dopo lo scorso anno e dicono che gli è piaciuta ancora di più!
Molti la maggior parte si sono ritirati, ma vogliono tornarci con la mentalità giusta! Non basta avanzare e muoversi al @memory_bike_ _ Adventure devi partire pronto più di qualsiasi altro evento.
Ora devo, dobbiamo trovare la motivazione per rifarlo il prossimo anno. Ma ci servirà il vostro aiuto. Cominciate già a pensarci se vorrete esserci nel 2025. Purtroppo bisogna essere consapevoli e lo sforzo per così pochi partecipanti sarebbe troppo!

It is a slow adventure. Difficult. It takes the right mindset to kick off the @memory_bike_ Adventure. One often has to look around to find a reason to keep going. No part of it is easy.
@sofianeshl says it was the hardest thing she’s ever done.
Some people call it an incredible trip even if you analyze it well it lasted less than 4 days.
@frnkwz @christianholweck are back after last year and say they liked it even more!
Many most have retired, but want to go back with the right mindset! It’s not enough to advance and move at the @memory_bike_ Adventure you have to leave ready more than any other event.
Now I have to, we have to find the motivation to do it again next year. But we will need your help. Start thinking about it already if you want to be there in 2025. Unfortunately you have to be aware and the effort for so few participants would be too much!
