Mud on my face…” 🎵 mud on my bike, but a Bronze medal in my hands! 🥉

Traka 360 was the toughest, but the Gravel World Championships 🌈 in Nannup were definitely the most beautiful and emotional race of my life 🥲😍!
Due to the very hilly course (125 km and 3,100 m elevation) and my high „system weight“ of 87 kg, I lined up with the goal of finishing in the top 10, though even a result in the top third would have made me happy. Standing in the start box alongside Wayne Sanchez (2026 Granfondo World Champion), Sean Hardy (3rd at the 2026 Granfondo World Championships), and Jan Olav Beitmyren (2022 Gravel World Champion, @jobeitmyren ), Wayne told me that he wasn’t the favorite—the two Australians, Richard Walsh and Tim Jamieson, were. I knew right then that this would be a tough nut to crack. The podium? Completely out of reach… 😅

Slide 1: 🥉 Bronze at a World Championship! Highlight of my 40-year cycling career!

Slide 2: Clean and focused at the start.

Slide 3: On Brockman Climb, the two favorites attacked with Wayne and pulled away despite my 356W effort. I held 4th and caught Wayne at the top.

Slide 4: High pace with Jan Olav—Wayne had to drop off.

Slide 5: 70 km teamwork with Jan Olav. Fair play: he waited during my 30s F1 pit stop (thanks Alex & Fiona!), I waited when his chain dropped.

Slide 6: Folly Climb (25 km to go): MY moment! Pushed 300W for 13 min and went solo!

Granfondo European Championships in Varese / IT

Finished P7 out of 288 riders at the Granfondo European Championships, just 2 minutes off victory. The pace was brutal, the competition top-tier.

Beating former world champions and top riders proves the form is there, but when you set your sights on the podium, 7th place stings just a little bit. But I’m happy with these results anyway.

A big thank you to @alpha.racing.team.switzerland for the incredible support and to @velogfeller for keeping the gear in absolute top shape! 🚲⚡️

Still, proud to represent Switzerland and the team out there. Every race is a lesson, every gap is motivation. We keep pushing. 💪🏆

Trainingsfahrten auf der Strecke: Vorsichtig und respektvoll! 🙏🏼
Die Trainingsfahrten auf unserer Race-Strecke nehmen wieder zu. In der Vergangenheit haben wir diverse Rückmeldungen erhalten, dass es auf einzelnen Abfahrten wiederholt zu brenzligen Situationen gekommen ist. Bitte fahrt insbesondere auf der Abfahrt von Frauenkappelen nach Aebischen sowie im Riedern-Quartier vorsichtig, besonders aufmerksam und respektvoll. Es muss jederzeit mit Gegenverkehr, Passanten und unerwarteten Situationen gerechnet werden.

Training rides on our race course are on the rise again. In the past, we’ve received various reports that dangerous situations have repeatedly occurred on certain descents. Please ride carefully, with extra caution and respect, especially on the descent from Frauenkappelen to Aebischen and in the Riedern region. You must always be prepared for oncoming traffic, pedestrians, and unexpected situations. Thank you! ☺️

Rennrad fährst du. Bahn auch? 👀

Am Sonntag, 25. Oktober 2026 tauschen wir die Strasse gegen die Holzbahn und laden euch gemeinsam mit Velo Gfeller zu einem privaten Bahnschnupperkurs im Tissot Velodrome Grenchen ein.

Du bist noch nie Bahnrad gefahren? Umso besser! Genau dafür ist dieser Kurs gedacht. Unter professioneller Begleitung lernst du die Grundlagen des Bahnradsports kennen und sammelst deine ersten Erfahrungen auf der Bahn – inklusive Steilkurve. 🚴‍♂️💨

My first-ever youth league season has just ended here in Yverdon at the Swiss Championships.

Overall, I finished 11th in U16 and 3rd in the 2012. At the Swiss Championships, I finished 7th in U16 and 2nd in the 2012.

My whole season didn’t go as planned. I thought I would be one of the best and be able to step onto some podiums, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The others were simply too strong for me.

Now I have the whole winter to train, improve, and come back stronger next year.

And Next year I’m sure I’ll have some beautiful battles with @nilsmaurer18 @loic._martins @arthur_colliard @54.jeanluis and Émile Maillefer

3 Days. 3 Stages. 1 Mission. 🥇🚴💨

What an incredible weekend at Riderman 2026! Three completely different stages, maximum intensity, and a perfect outcome.

Stage 1 | Individual Time Trial
All-out effort from the start ramp. Locked into the aero tuck, held the targeted power output, and secured the stage win with a +20-second lead - putting the leader’s jersey on my back right from day one! ⏱️🔥

Stage 2 | Road Race
Lining up in the leader’s jersey. The race was extremely fast and aggressive in the first half, but I pushed the pace, and extended my lead by an additional 7 minutes to take another stage win! 🏆

Stage 3 | Final Stage & GC Victory
The final showdown. Rode hard in younger front groups all day. The 2nd and 3rd place riders in my age group managed to hold on for about two-thirds of the course before the pace proved too high and they dropped off. Pushed it through to cross the line 3 minutes ahead, claiming the stage win and securing the Overall General Classification (GC) title! 🟡🏆

A huge thanks to my team, @alpha.racing.team.switzerland ch, @velogfeller and the organizers @riderman.de for putting on a world-class event.
