This was the mixer at Andrew Freedman Home The theme was imagine a future where we don’t need to be scared of the future. Simple statement, but not easy. The mixer is about getting things done. At every mixer, I’ve seen people get a little poco loco. I like poco loco to dream change you have to be. Un poco loco to believe in healing and better. The mixer is semi annual Spring and Fall We get artist to engineers, filmmakers to authors! Bring impact to art, and the heart to tech! Remain curious! Keep the Bronx creative

Riding out with @drcrissaris , but this time on bikes! I facilitated a retreat currently named PORTAL 3—a four-day refuge (someone said maroon space), for ChangeShapers of the Global Majority -   generously supported by Mohican land and spirit, the hospitality, tender care and medicine at @thewatershedcenter, @wildseed, partnership from @theacademyforsystemschange and @illuminatesystemschange, and funds from @robertwoodjohnsonfoundation   Out on that land, we made room for the weary and willing. We centered spaciousness, deeper connections, collective sense-making, rest, grief and joy. Ven conmigo. I'm starting a series showcasing my collection of shoes i meander with. #dillydallyshoes YerrrrrrT! You ever kept a circle in a yurt? 10/10 highly recommend. Marta held it down with me. I think she also took the best pics. Nah, we really spent years trying to make this happen. We did. And more importantly, along the way, i got to make ravioli at her crib ( with her ravioli MACHINE), and saw her big ass grain mill for her sourdough and ate muesli every morning. All hail @vemilo.pa Real life. Pop's Birthday Cannolis @luis_r_tapia Ankh. Art. CarBars - I was really hyped to have had the chance to make Portal 3 happen and to simultaneously be held by that space/container personally. So, i decided to freestyle and record.

This is going to be our 4th mixer! At Plumbum, the core is discovery, search, and redefining. We bring people of different backgrounds and experiences together. When we say mix, we don’t mean mingle. We mean chemistry, the kind that can lead to the next idea, project, or connection. We are hosting a mixer: 📍 @afhbronx 📅 Oct 9th ⏰ 7 pm to 10 pm We are looking for vendors to be part of imagining that joyous future. The vending fee is $10. We like all types of vendors, whether you’re sharing your art, lighters, food, perfumes, books, or if you want a table to advocate for something, fill the form through the QR code or link in bio @plumbumapp @decibao Ticket Link in bio @decibao @plumbumapp P.S. When we first announced the community ticket was not on the posh. It is now, get a ticket, see you there.

It’s our 4th mixer; we want alchemic reactions! People of different origins, igniting curiosity and opening doors for the next curious idea or project. We will welcome you! We’ll say ‘hi’ when you arrive. Come with friends or by yourself, but you won’t be a stranger for long. 1125 Grand Concourse @afhbronx Oct 9th 7 to 10 pm Writers, filmmakers, software engineers, ux/ui pros, and entrepreneurs. You don’t need any of those labels to be part, just be curious! The tag for our semi-annual mixer is bringing the impact to art, and the heart to tech. We will have live performances: one poet, two musicians, and it is always a time! See you there! * food * music * vendors The Bronx, not the myth, but why we’re legends!
