Hiiii everyone! If you know me at all, you know I am a HUGE Dominic Fike fan.

Last night I saw him for the 4th time (soon to be 5th!), but this time I was barricade!! Truly a full-circle moment, because the first time I saw him was at this same venue three years ago, right after Sunburn first came out. My mom and I got there fairly late and watched the show from the lawn, not knowing just how much that night would impact future me.

From then on, I memorized every song on every album, did a deep dive into anything and everything Dominic Fike, and did everything I could to make it to a live show whenever possible, no matter how near or far.

We camped for about 13 hours yesterday for that barricade spot, and within those 13 hours, I met so many awesome people. I’ve never met fans before who were so kind and welcoming as everyone was yesterday. I genuinely had so much fun making posters, discussing what songs we wanted to hear, how many times we’ve seen him live, and, of course, most importantly, just sharing a love for his artistry.

Thinking back on it now, the day went by so fast, and I miss it & everyone already!!

You’re probably thinking, “Why is she writing such a sappy caption for just another concert?”. But it’s not “just another concert.”

It’s so special to be able to share your passions with people who are just as passionate as you are. I don’t think I’ll ever truly be able to put into words how much last night meant to me or how grateful I am for such an amazing experience. (Lots of very happy tears were shed lol.) I had the best time screaming every word and dancing around with all my new friends.

I love music, I love being a fangirl, and obviously, I love Dominic Fike.

Endless thank-yous to @dominicfike / @separatestreet for doing what you do and making music that is so special it can mean this much to people.

And with that, I’m sure this will most definitely not be the last time you hear about Dominic Fike from me! I’m never getting over this day for the rest of my life.
