There are wedding days that stay with you in a way you have a hard time putting into words. Kristin & Kelsey’s was one of those days.

They started the morning together at home in Houston, getting hair and makeup done with their friends. Then Kelsey headed to a hotel with her mom, while Kristin stayed home and had her mom help her get dressed. And when they saw each other again at Ouisie’s... we were all trying to keep it together!!

Their closest people gathered on the back patio for their ceremony, followed by dinner inside. To watch their friends and family show up, pray over them, bless their marriage, and celebrate their love so fully... it healed something in me.

Alicia was my second photographer that day. Getting to stand beside my own fiancée while we watched these two say their vows meant more than I can really explain. Days like this remind us of our own love, and of why getting to do this work together matters so much to us.

Kristin & Kelsey, thank you for trusting us with this day. I hope these photographs always bring you back to how it felt to be surrounded by so much love. We are so incredibly happy for you!!

I filmed this video right before my interview, with absolutely no idea what the outcome would be. I prayed about it, walked into my interview with confidence, and simply spoke from my heart. I’m so excited to share that they chose me. 🥹
