Venus Anon - Large Rooms Tour: Fotografiska Stockholm, 30 October

Large Rooms Tour brings music into the public spaces where the people and art of the cities meet. After the art museums of Lund and Gothenburg, the tour closes in Stockholm, Venus Anon’s home city.

For the final night, Venus takes over Annie, Fotografiska’s audiovisual room. On a stage with 55 metres (!) of projection surface, the world of ’Will You Allow It?’ becomes something to step inside. One night, built for this room.

’Will You Allow It?’ is four songs and one interlude, written and produced by Venus herself. It stays inside the tension between resistance and surrender, holding the impossible desire to be good, gentle and in control. ’gentle’ turns inward, toward anger and the choice of softness. ’florence!’ turns outward, a love letter to her younger sister.

’Catharsis’ drew support from DAZED and Viper, and her 2025 releases won R&B/Soul of the Year at Manifestgalan 2026. ’Will You Allow It?’ has already drawn both international and Nordic attention from the likes of NME and DN, alongside an NTS Radio show.

What you resist will persist. Some things must lose shape for new blood to form.

Been thinking lately about trying to make human errors ai could never do, trying to incorporate ever weirder and more off out there stuff and bringing out the lousiest things to keep the music on the right track. Don’t know if if makes sense at all, but non wifi cutlery and unconnected thrash cans are a total thrill these days! Anyhow these pics doesn’t really have anything to do with it. #roadsoda #emailisamensroom
