There are moments you dream about for years… and then one day, you’re finally living them. 🤍 This was my very first JSBEAUTY Makeup Class. Although I’ve taught before through an academy, this was the first class built under my name, my vision, and my brand. It’s something I’ve dreamed about for nearly 10 years, so this day meant more than I can put into words. The day before class, the AC at the salon unexpectedly went out, and for a moment, I truly thought everything was falling apart. But God always has a plan. To my husband, Daniel..thank you for doing everything possible to keep the class at the salon, for always believing in my dreams, sharing my vision, and reminding me that there’s always a solution. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. To my best friend, Brittany, thank you for never giving up and helping make this happen. And to Becca at Soma Vida, thank you for opening your doors and allowing me to use your beautiful space on such short notice. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you to Jess for getting my model ready, to everyone who showed up to support me, and to each of my students who trusted me and spent their Sunday learning with me. And to my beautiful model..thank you for trusting me once again. You’ve been the face of some of my biggest milestones, and it meant so much to have you by my side for this one too. Yesterday was a milestone I’ll never forget. My very first makeup class hosted under JSBEAUTY officially came to life. While I’ve had the opportunity to teach before, this one was different. This was my vision, my brand, my students, and a dream I poured my whole heart into. Was everything perfect? Not at all. We had a few unexpected moments along the way. But one thing my husband always reminds me whenever things don’t go as planned is, “There’s always a solution.” Those words stayed with me throughout the day. Every challenge had an answer, and thanks to the incredible people around me, we found it. To my best friend, thank you for doing everything possible..and sometimes what felt impossible..to make sure this class came together. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. To my other best friend, my coworkers, my clients, and every single person who showed up and believed in me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You weren’t just attending a class..you were part of a dream becoming reality. Watching everyone learn, encourage one another, step outside their comfort zone, and leave feeling more confident reminded me why I love what I do. Makeup has always been more than products to me. It’s confidence, creativity, connection, and creating a space where women can feel empowered. I ended the day with tired feet, a full heart, and tears of gratitude. This class reminded me that growth isn’t about having a perfect day…it’s about showing up, adapting, and continuing to believe in your vision. This was the first JSBEAUTY class… and it definitely won’t be the last. Thank you for believing in me. Here’s to the beginning of something truly special. ✨ Late post… but moments like these are always worth sharing. 🥂❤️ Last Thursday, we celebrated my life. And this season has reminded me more than ever how precious it is to be surrounded by the right people. Life is too short to walk it alone. Choose friends who pray for you, believe in you, speak truth into your life, lift you up when you're weary, celebrate your victories as if they were their own, and remind you of who you are when you've forgotten. Those are the friendships that become gifts from God. 🤍 I feel incredibly blessed to have this beautiful woman in my life. Thank you for loving me without measure, for encouraging me through every season, for making me laugh, for standing beside me, and for reminding me that even in the hardest moments, there is still so much beauty to celebrate.
