by Malin Bülow / @bulowmalin for 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 ‘𝟮𝟭 @lustwarande Tilburg.
I am honored I could be a part of this gorgeous & meditative performance installation during the last days of summer, in which ‘outside’ and ‘inside’ melt into one another. Looking for our own membrane. 🌪
I think it’s almost like magic how the work of the body makes an artwork come to life and let’s it speak to an audience.

Thank you @lustwarande! 🌿

👐🏿🦵🏽🦶🏾I am a guest in the new feminist podcast @quietbodiespodcast !!! Episode 2 ‘The Beautiful Body’
💪🏼 My dear friend @charlotte.mathiessen interviewed me about the beauty standards in dance, and I feel so honored to talk about this topic with her. Interesting and surprising points came up in the conversation.
The format of the podcast is not just a simple interview: Charlotte is also connecting you back to your body as a listener. I recommend to check it out.
Give it a listen op Spotify, Apple Podcast, Podbean, Google, or wherever you get your podcasts! 🎧 (or support this project by giving them a follow!)
I still absolutely can’t deal with the sound of my own voice #cringe, but I’m sure that won’t bother you haha! Link in my bio.

🌀🌾I want to announce that I will do a live Film STREAM with @chronos.dance!
Saturday 13th of February at 20:15 (UTC+1)

If you want to join, check out the event in my bio, all the info is in there.
I would love if some of my insta-friends come and watch!

The last month I rehearsed and worked very hard together with @chronos.dance, @vitapagie and @jochembraat at residency at @leineroebana & @ickamsterdam.
We planned to premier our beautiful performance in February, but due to the corona measures here in Amsterdam we were forced to postpone the premier till further notice. But instead CHRONOS created, together with film-maker @immanuel_bom, a beautiful film. The film is based on the material of the actual performance, but still a very different experience.
I’m very proud of what we made together, during this great but sometimes also intensely difficult journey. The several lockdowns didn’t make this proces easy all the way. I hope y’all can make it to the stream, and enjoy the beauty of the resilient body, all just from your livin’room!

🌾Good news and bad news!

The good: TOGETHER AGAIN! ♥️Finally the Swiss part of us made it to Amsterdam and we are able to rehearse and finish piece.

The bad: 🦠Our premiere is postponed till further notice. Because of the lockdown measures here in the Netherlands we are not allowed to perform in the theater. It is sad to not be able to be on stage, but we are having a blast in the studio at the moment.

Stay tuned because we are looking if we can organize a live-stream on the day we were supposed to perform so we can still share something with you!! 😚

CASCO

It has been silent on our socials - but busy in the office. It's weird for a dance-collective to not be able to dance together, and it's so sad that we had to cancel performances.
But we have been working a lot (from home!) & making future plans! 💙
Lucky for us we were already used to online meetings, even before this crazy quarantine.
Stay safe and stay tuned. There is more to come in better times!
A big 1,5 m distant hug!
