➡️ Examine the pouch indicator: Look for the color indicator, usually located in a corner of the pouch.
➡️ Compare the colors: The indicator should be significantly darker than the one in the opposite corner.

This color change confirms that the tools have been exposed to the high heat of an autoclave—typically reaching 280°F—effectively killing fungi, bacteria, viruses, and spores.
