Banff Musicians in Residence 2026 - part 1: work.

I’ve spent the January of this year in the Banff Centre of Arts and Creativity in Canada as part of an Audio Engineering Residency. I’m so thankful for this incredible experience; for taking part in so many recordings, for meeting all of these amazing musicians and audio engineers. Thank you all for teaching me so much about music, recording and friendship. And thanks @banffcentre for having me!

Unhinged and alive, eachly and everyonely, to some Nth degree: this banff musicians in residence cohort gave and received so effortlessly and with such stupefying capacity that I find my deep roots of faith in humanity, in solidarity, beauty, shenaniganry and collective freedom nourished and vivified. It is an unbelievable privilege to be able to pursue freely one's gifts and to feel those gifts are in service to others. This is the kind of freedom we all deserve, and practices which help reveal this capacity are all worthwhile. Thank you @banffcentre for continuing to provide a place for this hopeful and collective work and play. We need these spaces more than ever.

Unparalleled gratitude, love and devotion to this cohort:

What a beautiful experience. Thank you @banffcentre for this amazing opportunity. I wrote a lot of music, laughed, cried and above all else I bonded with so many wonderful creatives. The range of projects and different views on life was spectacular. I am in love with everyone involved in this residency! I will hold this moment in my life forever.

Shout out to @damaann_ and @reverie_online for coming up to see what the residency was all about and took this first amazing group photo.
