This was already a bummer of a week, and then the Chadwick Boseman news hit. Two massive positive forces were taken from us way too young. Feeling extra thankful for music, I don’t know what I’d do without it. Power Trip forever.
1. Power Trip - Nightmare Logic
2. Power Trip - Manifest Decimation
3. Cytotoxin - Nuklearth (thanks to everyone who recommended this to me, it’s so sick.)
4. Allegaeon - Apoptosis (I overlooked this band for way too long)
5. Full Of Hell - Trumpeting Ecstasy
6. Full Of Hell - Weeping Choir
7. Vermin Womb - Decline
8. Nails - You Will Never Be One Of Us
9. Carnifex - Die Without Hope
10. Carnifex - Slow Death
11. Carnifex - World War X
12. Fit For An Autopsy - The Sea Of Tragic Beasts
13. I Am - Hard 2 Kill
14. Gatecreeper - Sonoran Depravation
15. Incantation - Sect Of Vile Divinities (another great recommendation from multiple people)
16. Ingested - Where Only Gods May Tread
17. Mental Cruelty - Inferis
18. Stillbirth - Revive The Throne
19. Signs Of Omnicide - Era Of Omniscience

Not trying to win any prizes since I literally own zero vinyl records, but I still wanted to participate in this badass ABC’s of Extreme Metal physical media sharing challenge. Share the stoke for physical media, also check out and support @vberkvlt for incredible art. Here’s V with Vermin Womb’s pissed off album Decline #vcabc2020 #nowspinning #nowplaying #deathmetal #grindcore #metalcdcollection #verminwomb #decline

Out now: Many Blessings - Trauma Artistry & Ripe Earth (2nd press).

Many Blessings is the experimental outlet created by Ethan Lee McCarthy ( @primitivemandoom , @verminwomb ) .

Trauma Artistry is now available as a limited cassette, together with Many Blessing's debut 'Ripe Earth'.

Both are available seperately or as a friendly priced combo.

Blasting this in anticipation of the new Primitive Man LP!

Vermin Womb - Decline LP
Bone White
300 Copies
Translation Loss/Throatruiner Records

Ethan Lee McCarthy is involved in some of the most extreme and punishing bands on this planet... and Vermin Womb is no exception!

Quite the contrary: 'Decline' is among the most unforgiving Deathgrind records in existence and I couldn't think of a better album title for it.

There is a serious amount of low end dissonance to be found in this band's riffs, which is something they do share with Primitive Man.

Does that mean that Vermin Womb are merely a faster version of Primitive Man? I don't think so, but would that even really be so bad? Probably not.

There are a lot more tangible Death Metal-influences on this record, though. But they're certainly more twisted, dissonant and simply harder than a lot of the stuff that comes out of this genre.
