It’s been years since my deadlift has felt this good. My weakest lift is finally moving the way I’ve always hoped it would, even after an injury. Safe to say, I’m feeling like the sky’s the limit for Commonwealths. I can’t wait to see what I’m capable of 🤭

The chalk cloud was a paid actor btw 😂

Three minutes before this set, I found out I officially made the Commonwealth Team for 3-Lift!!

To say I was excited would be an understatement. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to represent Team Canada once again!!

See you all in Winnipeg, Manitoba! 🇨🇦

My first block officially back post-injury. I can’t believe this is the most I’ve totalled on triples for all three lifts in a single block!! We are slowly but surely surpassing my past personal bests!!

I am so excited to see what I can do now that I can squat, bench, and deadlift 100% pain-free ❤️

Pretty stoked to be back squatting 3 plates and taking 127.5kg for backdown 4s. Soon enough, I’ll be back in my 150+ territory, but this time for reps 🤭

Oh hello deadlift 🤭

It’s been 8 months since I last hit a triple PR, now 3 months post-injury, I am super close, which is insane!!

Feels crazy to be repping a weight that held me back for so long.

Safe to say, I’ve finally found the soft touch technique that works for me! The pauses will be cleaner next time, and hopefully my feet won’t slide (I’ll tie my shoes tighter next time 😭). Regardless, I’m incredibly proud to be confidently hitting this weight for a triple before ever doubling it.

I love my new shoes ❤️ @avancusofficial
