Y poco a poco voy a ir mostrando qué significa y cómo quiero compartirlo.

Gracias

From cityscapes to seascapes, introducing the work of @sallymilesartist & @verobelcher

SALLY MILES (1-6)

A word from the artist:

“In this series of New York collages, neon lights and digital screens are the only street life left in Lockdown. I am fascinated by the physical presence of buildings, the way light picks out and hides their forms and textures and how they reflect the sky, becoming part of natural phenomena.”

VERONICA BELCHER (7-10)

Veronica Belcher is an artist born in Argentina and now based in Punta del Este, Uruguay. She lives by the sea where she finds inspiration for her paintings. Her
artwork includes portraits, landscapes, and illustrations for children’s books. Her style combines vivid colours and bold brushstrokes to capture the energy and
emotion of her subjects. She is also passionate about teaching and sharing her knowledge and experience. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries and her paintings can be found in private collections around the world.

A word from the artist:

“Painting and drawing help me connect with my inner self. I am inspired by nature and try to capture it in a loose way. I see the canvas as a space where colours and lines can play, where the brightness and strength of colours can intensify or soften, and where they can gain or lose prominence. Through this process, a painting emerges where once there was just a blank canvas. My goal is to create paintings that evoke a sense of calm and joy.”

Congratulations to @verobelcher on being part of a great new show at @bricklanegallery. It was an absolute delight to meet Veronica, who is based in Uruguay, and see her beautiful work in real life. Hopefully this will be the first of many shows in London. It was also lovely to meet her daughter, @cro.marc , also a talented artist. Enjoy the rest of your trip to London, ladies! #artists #artinlondon #bricklanegallery #bricklaneart #inspiringartist #uruguayart
