It’s one of those experiences you carry with you for the rest of your life.
One of those spaces that stay imprinted in your mind and in your soul.

The desert, and particularly this part of the Sahara, is something truly special… 🏜️✨

It brings you into a present moment in a way that, personally, I don’t experience anywhere else.

It invites you to get lost in a sea of stars like you’ve never seen before 🌌 and, at the same time, it guides you to find yourself among the finest, most delicate, softest sand in the world. So soft that, sometimes, it feels like water flowing beneath your feet.

There is one essential characteristic to it: the landscape becomes alive and ever-changing.

As if the desert itself were moving throughout the day and throughout the night. You find yourself back in the same place, and yet… something is different.

It’s as if even the desert had the ability to breathe…
and to give us oxygen. 🌬️

Because it is also a place where, for years now, a community has been growing — a community built around values that come from the purest form of love. ❤️

During the experience, besides dancing, we also share different workshops, breathe, eat delicious food, connect, share and simply be. 🫶🏽

It’s a complete cultural journey through a wonderful country: Tunisia.🇹🇳✨

And for all of this, I recommend to all my friends around the world that if you ever feel like giving yourself something intangible, something that touches your heart deeply… come.

S’engager.

Le Prix Antoinette Fouque de l’engagement a été décerné au Dr Denis Mukwege, Prix Nobel de la Paix 2018, « l’homme qui répare les femmes ».

Gynécologue et chirurgien, il a consacré sa vie au combat contre les violences sexuelles utilisées comme arme de guerre en République démocratique du Congo. En 1999, il a fondé l’Hôpital de Panzi à Bukavu. Depuis, plus de 90 000 Survivantes y ont été soignées et accompagnées grâce à un modèle de prise en charge unique au monde : médical, psychologique, socio-économique et juridique.

Avec la Cité de la Joie, il est allé plus loin : les Survivantes deviennent des leaders. Plus de 2 240 femmes en sont sorties diplômées, actrices de changement dans leurs communautés.

Son combat, mené au péril de sa vie, fait écho à celui d’Antoinette Fouque contre le gynocide, la destruction systématique de la puissance symbolique, créatrice et subjective des femmes. Il ne s’agit pas seulement de réparer des corps, mais de restituer aux femmes leur dignité, leur autonomie, leur voix et leur pouvoir d’agir.
