First time we opened the @simpleflair_apartment during Milano Design Week and it just felt right.

Seeing it come alive with the international community we’ve been building all year, across NYC, Copenhagen, Paris and Los Angeles, made it pretty special. Different cities, same energy.

Some snaps from Just a Simple Gathering with @amigo_app and the @ananas____ananas installation 🌪️

Here are some of the voices—designers, architects, hoteliers, and cultural thinkers—who brought our Designed to Stay series at @alcova.milano to life during Milan Design Week.

Looking back on Alcova Talks, we revisit the questions that shaped the series—exploring how hospitality can create spaces that resonate emotionally and culturally over time, through atmosphere, memory, and meaning as much as through physical design.

Here, we spoke with @funwindow, @veronylon from @ananas____ananas, @oliverjahn from @house_manus, @simon_robert_l from @der_greif and @josephdeslercosta.

Of all the significant relationships we have during our life, perhaps the most important is our relationship to Earth. She has taught us everything we know about cycles and time. The shapes of our tableware collection are inspired by the landscapes of Baja California and the rock formations that live on the beaches.

We’ll be showing this collection at Villa Bagatti in BS1 @alcova.milano

Fabrication process for our @saiebeauty objects. We spent time studying the different make up products and how each one would be highlighted in composition with the piece. The fabrication process included laser cut sheets and rods to create multidimensional space vessels and balls used to perch the sheet on top creating “wells” for the products to fit into. The process naturally challenged us from shifting between material, techniques and finishes, always keeping in mind its function as a sculptural and intuitive design for Saie’s guests. The most challenging and thought provoking part of this was to take into consideration the amount of times the piece has to survive being transported from city to city.
