Istanbul Modern: my discovery in the museum was the wonderful photographic work of Selim Süme: „presented without frames and with a tactile sensibility, the works carry rawness and playfulness into the exhibition space - inviting viewers not only to look, but also to feel.“ @selim_sume @versusartproject @istanbulmodern

‘’Behind the Booth’’

What kind of story are you constructing at Art Show this year?

Avant D’art collaborates once again with Art Show: Galeriler Buluşması 2026.

Bringing together galleries and various actors of the art world in Istanbul, this gathering unfolds through solo and duo presentations, creating more focused, clearer, and stronger narratives.

Placing solidarity over competition and dialogue over hierarchy, this structure invites us to rethink the fair not merely as a display space, but as a ground for physical encounter and the production of context.

Avant D’art, Art Show: Galeriler Buluşması 2026 ile yeniden iş birliği yapıyor.

CURATED CHOICE #10
Theme: Collective Illusions
Invited curator: Birgit Lyngbye Pedersen @birgitlyngbye - design historian, collector and founder of Brodie Sessions

For the tenth edition of Curated Choice, Enter Art Fair invites Birgit Lyngbye Pedersen to curate a selection of artworks shaped by her chosen theme Collective Illusions. Drawing on ideas presented by Todd Rose, the exhibition considers how assumptions, perceived norms, and unspoken expectations influence our understanding of the world around us - and how easily perceived consensus can take hold.

Through submissions from Enter’s participating galleries, the selection engages with works that touch on perception, conformity, digital distortion, and the pressures that guide collective behaviour. Collective Illusions offers a framework for reflecting on the subtle forces that colour what we believe others think, and the distance that can exist between appearance and reality.

‘Curated Choice’ is an online commercial group show facilitated by Enter Art Fair. You can find prices and detailed information about the works via the link in bio.
