Empowering human adaptation to environmental stress

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

CAN YOU PICTURE SOUND?

This is a rework of a soundtrack from the documentary “Gene Hunters” by @vert_project, the score has been completely transformed with the incredible talents of @intl_access on modular synthesis and @feel_corn on drums. The visuals you’re seeing are an impulse response video, a unique creation by @soffio_di_nick that turns the iconic footage from the documentary “Gene Hunters” by @vert_project into a stunning visual experience using music data.

Throwback @romefutureweek 2024, where I developed this performance as a unique way to comunicate science with @vert_project a bio-tech start up!

Dive into the full experience COMING SOON Let me know what you think in the comments!

Exhibition
Chasing Adaptation: A Visual Journey into Human Extremes
August 6 – September 28

How far can the human body go in the face of extreme environments?
Chasing Adaptation invites you into the heart of the Arctic, where freediver Johanna Nordblad and a team of scientists and artists push the boundaries of human endurance in the icy waters of the Lofoten Islands. This multidisciplinary exhibition brings together film, photography, and field research to explore resilience, adaptation, and our evolving relationship with a rapidly changing planet.

Participating artists:
- Organised/texts by Valerio Azzimato
- Photographs by Marco Ruperto & Luca Gennari
- Art by Ruxo

🏔️ More info coming soon!
