Hi! We had a movie release a few weeks ago. It was shot in Atlanta with a great cast and crew. We worked really hard but also had a ton of fun on set! It is averaging 500 thousand views a week, and you should go watch it on @dramabox_official

REVIEW: CAUGHT BETWEEN THE MAFIA BROTHERS
On DreameShort

I love me some strong, feminine lead energy from @mariah_moss and this is by far my favorite from her. Unforgivingly cutting off her mafia don boyfriend when he publicly cheats on her, refusing to bend over to him even in her most dire situations, and goes into dangerous situations prepared with her back up plan - all while giving her glamorous past as a fashion model? I LOVE THAT SM!

And her cheating ex? @realmichaelyi plays him so effectively and frustratingly. The mafia don power got to Finn’s head so bad that he thinks he is untouchable. He really fumbles her because he clearly cares deeply - preparing the money she needs (too late), asking him to marry her (too late).

@jordanroyfrank's Knox is the sweetest. Golden retriever energy on the outside, secret underground ultimate mafia don on the outside (clearly gets it from his TikTok watching grandfather). He is the ultimate contrast to Finn. Highly attentive to Sloan’s needs, aware of what she wants, and clearing the path for her dreams. It makes so much sense she would fall for him in such a short time.

The final confrontation scene was such a brilliant stroke and turn of events that made so much sense to how the narrative was steadily being built. Knox’s power wasn’t just dropped out of nowhere and I really enjoyed taking all that in.

This was such an enjoyable vertical that I felt played it right across all aspects - from its mafia setting and tone, to its maneuvering of the all-too-late storyline, to its substantive characters and their motivations - this is A+ material for me for sure. Plus a super sweet umbrella scene where the woman is the one holding the umbrella? The cherry on top of an excellently executed vertical.
