❄️ Bringing Aluminum Back to Life with Dry Ice Blasting ❄️ Years of old paint, grease, oxidation, and grime can hide the beauty of an original aluminum intake manifold. Using Dry Ice blasting, we safely removed the deteriorated paint and contaminants to reveal the factory aluminum finish beneath—without harsh chemicals, sanding, or aggressive blasting media. Why choose Dry Ice blasting? ✅ Removes old paint, grease, and grime ✅ Non-abrasive process that helps preserve the base metal when used appropriately ✅ No secondary blasting media to clean up ✅ Reaches intricate castings, corners, and hard-to-access areas ✅ Ideal for restoration projects, engine rebuilds, and show-quality finishes Whether you’re restoring a classic muscle car, JDM legend, European performance car, or race engine, starting with a clean foundation makes all the difference. At Sub Zero Restoration, our fully mobile Dry Ice blasting service helps restore engine components, engine bays, suspension parts, undercarriages, transmissions, and more—all while minimizing downtime and preserving the details that matter. 🚐 Your Shop. 🇯🇵 The Mitsubishi 3000GT: A Design Ahead of Its Time 🇯🇵 The Mitsubishi 3000GT wasn’t just another sports car—it was one of the most advanced grand touring cars of the 1990s. Its sleek styling and innovative engineering helped it stand out during the golden era of Japanese performance. Here are a few design facts that made the 3000GT unique: 🪽 Aerodynamic Design – Its sculpted body was designed to reduce drag while improving stability at higher speeds. ⚙️ Active Aerodynamics – Early VR-4 models featured an active front air dam and rear spoiler that automatically adjusted to help reduce lift and improve handling. 💡 Pop-Up Headlights – Early models came equipped with pop-up headlights, one of the most recognizable design features of classic ’90s sports cars. 🔥 Wide, Muscular Stance – Broad fenders, sweeping body lines, and a low profile gave the 3000GT an aggressive appearance that still looks modern today. 🚗 Grand Touring Comfort – Mitsubishi designed the 3000GT to offer both exciting performance and long-distance comfort, making it a true GT car. More than 30 years later, the Mitsubishi 3000GT remains a favorite among enthusiasts for its bold styling, advanced technology, and timeless design. At Sub Zero Restoration, we’re proud to help preserve classics like the 3000GT. Our fully mobile Dry Ice blasting safely removes grease, grime, road debris, and years of buildup from engine bays, suspension components, and undercarriages—without damaging paint, aluminum, plastics, rubber, or wiring. 💬 Comment below: Do you prefer the early pop-up headlights or the later fixed-headlight 3000GT? 📞 (210) 815-6546 🌐 SubZeroRestoration.com #SubZeroRestoration #DryIceBlasting #Mitsubishi3000GT #3000GT #MitsubishiGTO #JDM #90sJDM #JapaneseClassics #CarDesign #AutomotiveDesign #GrandTouring #CarRestoration #ProjectCar #TexasCars #TexasHillCountry #SanAntonio #AustinTX #HoustonTX #CarCulture #JDMNation #BuiltNotBought #CarEnthusiast #MobileService

🇯🇵 The Mitsubishi 3000GT Doesn’t Need Twin Turbos to Be a Legend. While the VR-4 often steals the spotlight, the naturally aspirated Mitsubishi 3000GT proved that performance is about more than just horsepower. Powered by a 3.0L DOHC 24-valve V6, the non-turbo 3000GT delivered smooth, reliable performance while maintaining the sleek styling and grand touring comfort that made the platform so iconic. Here are a few fun facts: 🏁 Produced from 1991–1999 in North America. ⚙️ The naturally aspirated V6 produced up to 222 horsepower in later years. 🚗 Available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. 🛞 Front-wheel drive made the non-turbo model lighter and simpler to maintain than its VR-4 sibling. 🎨 It shared much of the same aggressive styling as the flagship model, making it one of the best-looking Japanese sports cars of the 1990s. 🇯🇵 Sold as the Mitsubishi GTO in Japan, it helped define Mitsubishi’s performance lineup during the golden age of JDM engineering. Whether you’re restoring one to factory condition or building a clean street car, the naturally aspirated 3000GT continues to earn respect for its reliability, timeless design, and unmistakable presence. At Sub Zero Restoration, we enjoy helping preserve classics like the Mitsubishi 3000GT. Our fully mobile Dry Ice blasting safely removes years of grease, grime, road debris, and buildup from engine bays, suspension components, and undercarriages—without damaging paint, aluminum, rubber, plastics, or wiring. 💬 Comment below: Would you choose the naturally aspirated 3000GT or the twin-turbo VR-4? 📞 (210) 815-6546 🌐 SubZeroRestoration.com #SubZeroRestoration #DryIceBlasting #Mitsubishi3000GT #3000GT #MitsubishiGTO #JDM #JapaneseClassics #90sJDM #GrandTouring #ClassicCars #CarRestoration #AutomotiveRestoration #EngineBay #Undercarriage #ProjectCar #ImportCars #TexasCars #TexasHillCountry #SanAntonio #AustinTX #HoustonTX #CarEnthusiast #GarageLife #BuiltNotBought #JDMNation #JapanesePerformance #CarCulture #Restoration #Detailing #MobileService

Some builds are about changing a car. Others are about preserving a memory. This 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL received a full satin white wrap with a high-metallic flake finish, giving this classic a timeless look while making every curve come alive in the light. But the centerpiece is the custom hood. Inspired by a collection of Pokémon cards that were passed down through generations—cards that carried both incredible value and priceless memories—we created a one-of-a-kind design that turns this car into a tribute. It’s more than artwork; it’s a way to keep a family’s story moving down the road. Every vehicle has a story. We just help bring it to life. 📍Vertx Wraps | San Antonio, TX 📩 DM us to start your custom wrap project.
