HAPPY BIRTHDAY VALLI // Some friends are for ever, maybe even from life times ago. I am fortunate to have a solid group of forever friends I can count on no matter what. They know me and still love me anyway! I met Valli, in this lifetime, at The University of Illinois, as a senior. I became her apartment mate and best friend forever along with Toni, and later Deb, we created the sisterhood of the traveling yoga pants and vowed to see each other as often as we could, support each other along the way across the miles. That is what we have done... through graduations, marriages, childbirth, divorces, deaths, new beginnings, and self-reinvention we have stayed together. Representing LA, Prescott, and Miami... of different faiths and cultural backgrounds, we are... forever friends. We are ONE. Happy Birthday Valli. Though we will celebrate on ZOOM tonight, distance never diminishes the love. Remembering this awesome visit to Joshua Tree for Bhakti Fest a few years ago. Love you always! // Pazituve.guru #collegedays #bestfriendsforever #univwrsityofIllinois #Illini #oskeewowow #sistersfromothermothers #happybirthday

SISTERHOOD // Who knew, back in 1982, when I moved in with my University of Illinois Roommates @veryvalli and @prescotttoni that we would be friends for life? Miles between us from Miami - Prescott - Los Angeles - we are on opposite sides of the country and yet we manage to stay close. One tradition we created a few years back was to hand off this pair of yoga pants to the next sister till our next meeting. So today on out last day together, I handed them off to Toni. Heres to the Sisterhood of the Traveling Yoga Pants and our next retreat. Feeling blessed to have such wonderful friends.// Pazitive.guru #traveling #sisterhood #yogapants #BFF #friendsforever

FRIENDS // I am fortunate to have life-long friends visiting me this week with β€œthe Sisterhood of the Traveling Yoga Pants”. If you have forgotten who you are, a good friend will remind you always. No pretense, just love. As Bette Midler so graciously put it in her song FRiENDS: β€œAnd I am all alone. There is no one here beside me. And my problems have all gone, There is no one to deride me. But you got to have friends the feeling's of so strong. You got to have friends to make the day last long.” Grateful for @prescotttoni and @veryvalli since 1981 // Pazitive.guru
