POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yesterday, I overheard this conversation between my kids and I got so emotional. I encourage the children to read a chapter of the bible a day. My 8 year old daughter just finished 1 Kings and was so excited, she decided to read two chapters in 2 Kings, 1 and 2.

I was going to their room to switch the light off and overheard her telling her 7 year old brother about what she read and asking him what it means to him. Wow! 🥹🤯🤧

I recorded this from the doorway and just stood there emotional. She read the story herself… and then began teaching her brother. Lord, raise them 🙏🏾

God is in the midst of His children and He's doing a quick work in them. May our children be taught of the Lord and great will be their peace. They are marked for signs and wonders, dedicated to His plans and purposes.

We are firecrackers and raising children who love and know the Lord 🥹🙏🏾❤️

Still basking in God’s mighty love and replaying all the beautiful moments from our virtual book launch. 💛✨

I realised on launch day that I hadn’t properly introduced the incredible speakers who would join us. I mentioned them briefly in stories, but they absolutely deserve a full spotlight here on the feed!
I am so honoured and grateful to have had both of these amazing women speak at the launch. This entire event was God-led — every detail was prayerfully considered because I wanted it to follow His blueprint. When their names came to mind, it was an immediate YES. I reached out, and they graciously accepted. Please help me celebrate them! 🙌✨

🌟 Thank you, Lucy, for honouring us with your wisdom. Thank you for sharing practical tips on weaving God into our busy parenting journeys and for blessing us with all the practical nuggets. The feedback from your session was incredible! Lucy has so many wonderful books, including her Advent devotionals — it’s not too late to pick them up. We absolutely love her Mighty Girl, Mighty God series. 😍 Please follow @thehopefilledfamily she shares useful content which help our christian parenting journey.

🌟 Thank you, Vese @vese_a for sharing your heart so beautifully. Your reminders about the Holy Spirit’s role in our children’s lives were powerful and so needed. Thank you sharing practical tips from your parenting journey! Please follow @prayerfirecrackers — an amazing community where children are fed spiritually. Vese is also the founder of Philly & Friends, who create gorgeous products that add a drop of colour and diversity to the playroom. Definitely check them out @phillynfriends

My heart is still so full. 💛

What were your highlights from the book launch? I’d love to hear! ✨

Dancing with my sisters would always be one of my favourite things. Of course we had to dance and celebrate after twelve years of us praying and waiting.

💕 And when God finally showed up? She went from 0 to 3 in less than three years. He gave her one and two years later gave double, Twins.

Our God? He never fails 🥹🥰❤️🙌🏾

I've been mulling over our roles as parents and how our relationship with God and our children can directly affect their relationship with God. I'm praying for the grace to parent each child right for us all.

As parents, we've actually been called to stewardship and stewardship requires active management and accountability. I'm learning with each passing day and year that we have to intentionally create an environment at home where our children experience the beauty, power and grace of God daily and guard it jealously.

I thought I'll share some ways we try to cultivate a spirit filled home and hope you share yours too 👇🏾

1) Conduct daily devotions and let them take turns leading. We also read a chapter of the bible a day
2) Cultivate a habit of praying and talking to God regularly - We say good morning Holy Spirit when we wake up.
3) Play worship regularly. Saturate the atmosphere with His presence.
4) Actively teach them about God. We talk to them about who God is and the amazing things He does and is doing.
5) Discuss Bible stories and characters freely and openly.

We really try to create an environment where they are free to ask questions. It's not always easy to implement but I'm more determined than ever.

Please share some ways YOU Cultivate a love for God in your home so we can all learn from each other ❤️

"There is no children's Holy Spirit" I felt that! 🔥🙌🏾 We must raise a generation of children who know who they are, whose they are and what they carry 🔥🥹. We are teaching them to keep scripture in their hearts and meditate on it ❤️

Our children will be taught of the Lord and great will be their peace. 🥰

Have your little ones learnt their memory Verse for the month? When they read scripture ask them:

🔥 What does this verse mean to you?
🔥 What do you think God is saying here?
🔥 What should we pray using this verse?

Join Us online for our next session on Sunday, 6th of July at 6.:30pm UK time. We look forward to having you and your children.

See the link in BIO to join us or comment FIRECRACKERS and we'll send it to your DM.

PS: @eseaghoghovbia see your GD2 🥹.
