I understand it can be frustrating that I have more (and better) cheer photos than you do race photos but just chalk that up to nobody knowing who you are.

Chalk this caption up to the Denzel Holiday.

One of the greatest receipts I’ll carry into this training season.

This week officially begins my journey back to the After Dark Tour. I’m incredibly grateful to be returning after an unforgettable experience last year—this time with even more intention and a few more races I’m excited to share soon.

Before I collect another finish line, I want to honor one of my favorite receipts from this year.

Leading over 200 Black women in movement on Juneteenth was one of the greatest honors of my career. I’ll never take for granted what it means to be trusted with our community—to create spaces where Black women can move, heal, connect, and choose themselves.

I’m especially grateful for the people who speak my name in rooms I’m not in. The opportunities I’ve received have never happened alone. They’ve come from people who believed in my work enough to recommend me, advocate for me, and make space for me. That’s not something I take lightly.

We’re only as strong as the village that’s willing to hold us up while we’re building.

So as this new training block begins, I’m not just chasing another finish line. I’m honoring every commitment that got me here—and every person who helped me become the woman capable of crossing it.

Now it’s your turn.

What receipt are you collecting this week? Do all the shit you said you were gonna do. 🧾
