**Long full disclosure post ahead:
Those that are in my close circle are aware of what’s been going on with me lately however I want to share a recent eye opening health experience that I went through.
A week ago, while doing my high intensity interval training (burpees to be exact 😝) I ruptured my right breast implant . Not only was it ruptured, there was a large amount of fluid quickly accumulating behind my muscle and silicone had leaked into my lymph nodes, suggesting that I was reacting to a possible infection. I rushed through a few plastic surgeon calls and ended up Friday, not being able to take the unbearable pain. I instantly called Dr. Mountcastle’s office (@mountcastlemedicalspa @iplasticsurgery @therealdrnova ) and they fit me in right away (like in 10 mins right away). After inspection, they decided to do emergency bilateral implant removal this morning. I am not only extremely grateful that God has been watching over me and provided me with the strength and clarity to understand the urgency of my situation, but to Dr Mountcastle and his AmazingTeam for not taking my situation lightly. I do not regret my journey of having implants (it was an important part of my journey of growth) however, as I have matured, I have also embraced my natural me and come to love myself naturally in my own skin. I am beyond excited to return to being authentically me and ready to embrace the next few months of healing and recovery, both physically and mentally. My explant healing journey has just begun. (day ☝🏾) 🙃. I am so excited to practice patience with myself understanding that healing takes time. Thank you to all my family (my wonderful mom and sis, dad, bro) my boys and hubby, my friends, coworkers @fairfaxradiology (and Dr Mountcastle & team) for all your support and well wishes! Life has a way of showing us we are ready for something greater!! God is good!!Time to grow! 🫶🏾🫶🏾💪🏾💪🏾 .
