Book 1 “Smile”

To my younger self. Im happy to tell you that our smile stayed the same and if it did change it only just got bigger. Our dreams are coming true as we stayed true to ourselves and as we finish this chapter of this part of our life and begin to write a new book we go in stronger, smarter, and happier then we did before. It’s only up from here. Thank you to everyone who is and have been in my life❤️

Today marks the last day of classes for our Boston Campus Graduate students so our Falcons wanted to thank their professor Dr. Mark Vrooman in a special way during their last online class. "Studying virtually can be challenging but Dr. Vrooman put in extra effort to keep us engaged. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and constantly checked in on us. I have learned so much in this Leadership in Governmental & External Relations class because of Dr. Vrooman.” (Victor Casildo - MBA '21.)

Meet Victor Casildo - Master of Business Administration - After earning his B.S. in Management with a concentration in Accounting and Management, all while playing on the Fisher men’s basketball team, Victor made the decision to continue his studies in Boston. "Moving from my hometown of NYC to another city was a very difficult adjustment. What impacted me the most was leaving my family and loved ones in order to pursue my degree. Fisher College's helpful staff, along with all of my teammates throughout all the four years, made it an easier transition. My favorite thing about the city of Boston has to be the sports culture; being here for 4 years I’ve experienced some of the many championship parades and the atmosphere is just incomparable. That definitely influenced my decision to come back for my MBA at Fisher College."

In June, Victor will be the first member of his family to earn a graduate degree. "My family is the reason I do everything that I do; without God and my family, none of this would be possible. Being the first in my family to pursue my master's degree is something that I take pride in every day and seeing my siblings and family friends following in my footsteps is something that I don’t take for granted." For anyone else looking to get their graduate degree, Victor has this advice: "Know what you want, stay the course, and know that a Master’s degree will be worth it."
