This Japan trip has been one of the biggest growth catalysts of my life.
Not just in business, but personally.

This year taught me something clearly:
There are levels to life and business.
And environment matters more than we realise.

Living in Perth, it’s easy to get comfortable.
But when you place yourself in rooms with people playing bigger games, everything shifts.

Your standards rise.
Your thinking expands.
Your limiting beliefs get exposed.

Being in a different environment gave me a new perspective on my own life.
I could see the beliefs that were holding me back, and from that awareness, action became easier, cleaner, and more aligned.

Spending time with @thechrisdo and meeting inspiring people from all over the world reminded me why this matters.

As Chris said to me in a hotel lobby in Tokyo:
“Do whatever it takes to get into the right rooms. That’s where the magic happens.”

Some of the most valuable lessons didn’t happen in a workshop.
They happened over a few beers with the right people.

Deep conversations.
No ego.
Real, heart-to-heart reflections that helped us see our blind spots. Thank you @carlosmgarciajr for the mini coaching session brother 🤝🏽

What inspired me most was realising that everyone there was on their own hero’s journey.
Each person committed to going through what they had to go through to become who they’re meant to be.

These are the containers I want to keep placing myself in.

Because I’m a student for life.

And if I want to create real impact, I have to keep surrounding myself with people who are playing in bigger leagues.

Eventually, you don’t just observe that level.
You rise to it.

I’ve been to Japan more times than I can count.

But I’d never experienced Japan like this.

I’m leaving this trip different.

@thechrisdo created one of the best trips I’ve ever experienced…

Part travel, part business workshop, part soul searching with 20 people I’d never met.

Here’s what happens when you put entrepreneurs, creatives, introverts and misfits together (Neuro Spicies 😂) in one of the most beautiful countries on earth...

People broke seals.

Shared things they’d never said out loud.

Elevated their style (@timminzer looked like a whole new person).

We claimed a few Americans as honorary Aussies 🍻

And had conversations that completely rewired how I think about my business.

I finally met @davekatague in person.. the AI expert I’d been following from afar.

Turns out he’s even more impressive face-to-face. Insanely passionate about what he does.

But everyone on this trip brought something different to the table. (Separate post coming on that.)
