Back in March I had a random idea: What if somebody put together a long form super valid core “influencer only” full length Fingerboard edit!? ..and just like that the idea behind “Like, Comment, Subscribe” was born! The whole “influencer” theme was always meant to be a gimmick. Think of it as a fun way to poke at the idea that you have to choose between being a Fingerboarder or a content creator. Plot twist: You don’t! (Oh and being one or the other, doesn’t take away.. from the other? If that makes sense lol) When it comes down to it.. we’re all here because we love Fingerboarding! The people in this video just happen to share that passion by creating content that inspires, entertains, and brings new people into the hobby every single day! (and even if you’re too cool to enjoy fb content.. that is a W for fingerboarding as a whole) One of my favorite parts of this project was seeing everyone’s personalities come through in their edits! Some creators spent days filming street clips, others filmed their entire part the day before the deadline (cough cough Mike.. Christian..) Every edit felt different, and that’s what made this project so fun! I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who believed in this idea, and wasn’t afraid to really lean into the “influencer” theme! Everyone who was involved with the finish product treated this project with nothing but professionalism from start to finish! This was completely new territory for me, everyone was super patient with me and super understanding.. and everyone involved just made the entire process super sick! And seriously, this was an “influencer” edit featuring a handful of Fingerboard influencers, not a “these are the only Fingerboard influencers in existence” list..! Believe me I’m fully aware that there are so many content creators who were not featured in this video who deserve a ton of recognition..! And to that I’ll say..
