Observing Pchum Ben in Cambodia, the land our ancestors came from, was extra meaningful for us as Koun Khmer 🕊️

We woke up early to ‘bos bai ben’ at Wat (pagoda) in Battambang and gave offerings to the monks that we prepared ourselves.

My koun Khmer homecoming experience✨

A post of appreciation to three wonderful women who are making a huge difference in our Khmer diaspora. 🌈
It would be an understatement to describe them “only” as the team behind @selarati -A koun Khmer homecoming experience.

I want to thank you for the friendships I’ve built in this short amount of time. Thank you for this incredibly emotional journey.

I especially want to thank you, @priscillakimong ! You are not only a blessing to me, but also to the Khmer community and all those who have had the privilege of meeting you. Your courage, your strength, and your warm heart goes beyond borders.

@hiii_maryto, you are the sunshine that everyone needs in their lives.🔆

And @meylify , you are an inspiration for so many young Khmer women.✨

I would also like to thank the amazing group. Thank you for making me feel like part of the Koun Khmer community from the very beginning, without hesitation.🪷
Because after this journey, I can finally say:
ខ្ញុំជាកូនខ្មែរ
“I AM KOUN KHMER.”
