A fantastic inaugural Chamber in the Chamber concert this afternoon with my @santamonicasymphony colleagues! We entertained members of Santa Monica city council with French reed trios at the end of their workday as they waited out traffic. 🚗 Thank you @cityofsantamonica for the first in what we hope to be a long partnership! 🎶

14 musicians. One stage. So many unforgettable moments. 🎻✨

Still thinking about MapleStory Fest 2026!

On October 17, our 14-piece orchestra had the opportunity to be part of this special celebration in Los Angeles. From the music filling the room to seeing everyone come together, it was an experience we're grateful to have shared. 🎶

Here's a little look at the musicians, the stage, and some of our favorite moments from the event.

Thank you to the MapleStory Fest team and every musician who helped bring this performance to life! ❤️

🍁 Were you at MapleStory Fest 2026? We'd love to hear about your favorite moment!

Got to play for @maplestory fest with Filipino American Symphony Orchestra last night! It was so nostalgic being able to play the music from a game I spent too much time on in middle school and also see a bunch of friends I haven’t seen in years! Great way to celebrate FAHM 🇵🇭 and music at the same time ◡̈ Thanks to my cousin @_lechonkawaiii for filming some clips! Thanks so much to @gem.acupan and @omg.ocdamiamusicgroup for the call and grateful for all the new friends made!

Redlands Bowl 4th of July Patriotic Concert! 🎇 thank you beautiful @picardy3rd for the great times and for building a phenomenal flute section! We had a blast working together- and it’s always great to sit next to the brilliant @saraandon 🤍 Amazing music making from all woodwinds in fact with some pretty challenging tunes. Loved this gig and loved celebrating 250 years of America together. @redlandsbowl

During our 2025 season, we had the distinct pleasure of celebrating the artistry of longtime TFO #oboist (and #woodwind section coordinator) Victoria Lee by featuring her on the Ruth Gipps #Oboe Concerto! Enjoy reliving this performance, and make sure you’ve got our 2026 season on your calendar— summer will be here before you know it. Remember to visit our YouTube channel to watch our full performances.

We’re grateful to share a long-overdue tribute to one of our founding members, Vicki Lee, who has since moved on from Syrinx Quintet. From day one, Vicki was much more than our oboist. She took on many managerial tasks, acted as our main point of contact, and maintained our social media presence. In fact, she is largely responsible for the name that has come to define our ensemble. We owe much of our growth and sustainability to her and deeply appreciate both her musical and managerial contributions to the group. We wish Vicki the best of luck as she enjoys the next chapter of her career!

Stay tuned for our upcoming announcement introducing her successor.
