Eight years ago today, RAD Hostel opened its doors for the very first time. 🎉

Since September 14, 2018, thousands of travelers from around the world have walked through those doors, many arriving alone and leaving with people they now call friends.

For eight years, we’ve been curing loneliness through bonfires, karaoke, shared dinners, mountain adventures, game nights, spontaneous dance parties, silliness, laughter and a little bit of whimsy.

But most of all, we’ve been curing loneliness by creating a place where people can let down their walls, be their authentic selves and know that while they’re here, they belong.

The most important thing we offer has never been a bed.
It’s belonging.

Happy 8th birthday, RAD Hostel! Here’s to all the friendships already made, and all the people we haven’t met yet. 💛

I probably sound like a broken record…but we’re so grateful for all of the kind souls that have trusted us these past few years.

Continuously meeting lovely people has helped us manage dealing with the chaos of the world.

Victoria and Kyle felt like old friends as like everyone that’s spent time in the darkroom. There’s nothing we love more than sharing this magical process with people that are as crazy about it as we are…and last night was another one of those nights.

2025 was wild

A year ago I never would have imagined I would be in a new location creating this sick collaboration with one of my homies

Or that I would be a freestyle snowboard coach at the mountain I grew up on

And rehabbing snowboarders for Vermont Academy at Mount Snow

It’s amazing how when your life gets flipped upside down and you feel so lost and confused, if you just keep following your passions and put it the work it always leads to something better

Grateful for all I learned from the highs to lows and spaces between

And even more grateful for every one of you that were here through it all ❤️

This song played a lot in my headphones when things got really hard and I needed to keep focused on moving forward

This year I went through 11 disposable cameras. Best decision I ever made. Getting the film back was an emotional experience in the best way leaving me with several epiphanies. Cherish every single moment with your friends. Spend time with your family. Be unapologetically yourself. Embrace your big heart & never let anything dim the love you have to share with the world. Say yes to every single adventure you feel drawn to because time doesn’t slow down for anyone. This year was really full circle for me. Everything’s exactly where it needs to be. ♥️
